We provide bespoke sessions to suit the needs of the individual.

Sessions can be 1 – 1 or 2 – 1 lasting between one and two hours depending on the age and requirements. These can be one off or can cover a four week period.

Qualifications sessions require to be longer, these are usually half days and are in groups of four, one half day per week for six weeks per module. (Ten modules available ) each one individually certificated.

APPLICATION FORM

This course offers practical learning, taught sessions, research and written work prepare you to be a reflective practitioner in the Equine Therapy field.

Written by therapists, teachers, coaches and horse care and training specialists.

Quality Assured as part of the Equido suite of courses under Lantra Awarding body.

Ongoing training, support and supervision through our Equido Equine Therapy Courses.

WHAT DOES THE COURSE ENTAIL?

Four Levels:-

Level One: Is our foundation level one course aimed at educators, coaches, and therapists to gain insight, knowledge and understanding when working in partnership with humans and horses.

At this level you will explore the basic foundations of working in partnership with horses and humans.

A holistic approach to utilise therapeutic approaches, building skills and knowledge to enable you to become aware of the mind-body equine connection between horses and humans.

Each of the Modules within Level One will include practical tasks, and theory tests.

You may be required to complete some research prior to commencing your Course. This will be fully explained to you at time of booking.

Level Two: A natural progression from Level One.

You will gain further skills and knowledge to enable you to utilise and deliver a range of basic interventions within your equine therapy work.

On successful completion at this level you will be able to utilise the skills and knowledge gained within this course within your equine practice providing you with a deeper understanding of mind-body equine connection.

Successful completion at this level you can certify as a Foundation Practitioner of our Equido Equine Therapy Programme.

All modules covered will have practical and theory testing.
